Be sure to check out the attached PDF below titled 'Surviving Middle School.' This handout has some great tips and information to help you and your child have a great year. In an effort to help you at home keep your student focused on homework during homework time, we'd like to share with you a website called Focal Filter, which can be downloaded here: http://www.focalfilter.com/. This website temporarily blocks websites that are distracting your particular student (Facebook, espn.com, etc). Once the timer is up, those websites are unblocked. You tell Focal Filter what websites are the issue and how long to block them. This is a FREE resource.
